Washing advice
To ensure that you can enjoy your products for as long as possible, we recommend that you follow these tips when washing your Asante Sanaa products:
- Wash products with prints at a maximum of 30 degrees celcius
- Wash your products inside out
- Do not use chemical cleaners
- Do not put your Asante Sanaa products in the tumble dryer
- Do not iron over the prints

Our Shirt 01 is part of the birthday selection after you voted. As one of our crowdfunding products, it is one of the first Asante Sanaa products ever made. Since then, every time you wear it, it contributes to more visibility for Tanzanian art.
As part of our birthday collection, we want to celebrate the art and designs from the last 3 years together and have therefore decided to bring back some old designs. Let's take the art out into the world as part of our "travelling exhibition" and give the art and the artists behind it the stage they deserve.
The shirt's back print, based on the painting "Mama Africa" by Selemani Issa Omari, makes it a fashionable one-off.
Like all our products, Shirt 01 is made from 100% organic cotton and is vegan. The shirt has a unisex cut.
