The painting People by Salum Kambi shows four figures standing next to each other in the foreground. The abstract depiction of the figures leaves room for interpretation and could symbolise the diversity and unity of the community. The pale yellow tone in the background radiates a hopeful energy and emphasises the relationships between the figures. With its clear, reduced depiction and subtle choice of colours, the work appears calm and inviting, focusing on the solidarity and togetherness of the people depicted.
