The painting ‘Mother's Love’ by artist Mushi Lazaro shows a Tanzanian woman carrying a baby in a sling on her back - a traditional way of carrying that is deeply rooted in many African cultures.

Mother's Love touches with its simple yet powerful depiction of motherhood. The warm, intimate relationship between mother and child is captured with great sensitivity and conveys a sense of love, security and connection.
